Contingency Theory

During our last lecture, we discussed the level of recognition given to ICT within an organization. That was all about the expected role of ICT within an organization by the Strategic Management. They say, best is always contingent upon the situation.

That is the Contingency theory.

It’s a very interesting factor to consider in all other circumstances too. People always wanna do the best, get the best, & be the best.
The Best….!!!
Best is always a relative thing. And it depends on the situation... As a result, choosing the best is always base on the Contingency theory!!!

Interesting! Knowingly or unknowingly, people always apply this piece of theory to practice in every circumstance in day-to-day life. However choosing the best is so hard in some cases. My question is, if selecting the best is situational base (it is certainly) & if it’s a relative thing, what if you regret or fail later on as a result of changing situations with time? Well, I know the answer is in the question itself. Do the best according to the new situation.

But... are things so easy as stated in these theories??? Ctrl+z is not applicable to life.

Hopeless!!!
