One of my good old friends got married

One of my best friends got married yesterday. I got to know her in grade 8. That was in 1994. Since then our friendship grew day by day & most of the time she treated me like her little naughty sister. She was such a nice friend to me in all the up & downs, in every white & blue through out all the seasons. We ate together, laughed together, and shared our dreams together, played tricks on others together, got praised together for getting highest marks in the class & of course got scolded together for the nasty things we did at school. What a nice time we had at school…. We grew up & went on separate paths. But our friendship was not changed. An occasional call, a sms, made us connected even we didn’t see each other for months & months. Finally yesterday, it was the day to start her new life together with her most loved man on this earth. I was so happy to see her as a nice bride with lots fresh hopes brightly shining in her eyes awaiting the unborn days to come… So they will live happily ever after that’s my wish for both of them.

PS: But…I see the reality. My sweet friend, you will have to cook, wash dishes, clean, iron clothes, look after kids, run behind them to feed…the list goes on & on & on. Oh I feel sad about you! And you asked me to jump in to the same well very soon. What a dear friend! So my 2nd wish to you was "May you get dozens of kids". And you liked that wish a lot indeed! You laughed out a lot forgetting you are the bride!!! Good luck my friend!
